Statement is class. Truly top trumps mate. Meanwhile Newcastle post a video of Matt Ritchie kicking a corner flag (with super league on it).
Honestly mate I think there is enough traction in the “No” movement. I still think Man City will be the first to pull the plug. But fair play to Jordan Henderson for doing what he’s done especially when it’s his employers who are the conspirators.
I may be wrong so any Toffees fans can correct me, but aren't Everton one of the few clubs in the PL whose owners have a reputation of consulting with fans on certain issues? Didn't they try and change the badge a few years back and the fans said no so they dropped it?
One of the worst things about this is the foreign guys involved havent grown up in England and havent been immersed in its culture and roots within our country and in Europe and beyond. You can understand to a point that they dont really get football like we do as they have their own sports and experiences - but Ed Woodward and Levy are English and do know what it means to fans and the history and the culture and STILL they're involved. Absolute vultures. I have more comtempt for them than anyone else. Bastards.
As usual the Irish ahead of the curve: https://www.the42.ie/the-dublin-dons-5365181-Feb2021/ was a good idea at the time and 25 years later it still might happen though not in Dublin!
