Sick of hearing this "Big Six" s##t. It was the top 4 because of Champions League places. Then a couple more shoe horned in because of money because Sky said so. The term "Big Six" itself is arrogant enough. I noticed they said "recent" history as a means to the invite? So how long ago is recent history? Where is Aston Villas invite? Forrest? Sunderland? Leicester? Wolves? Burnley? Or is it just 1992 onwards? The arrogance on show is laughable. The damage is done for the 6 clubs. I don't think anyone outside of Manchester had a problem with City, bet they do now. They can all jog on for me.
I can see nothing but flak for those owners from there own fans from now on, there is no way they can take back what they really think of them plus it has a lovely ring to it, you dirty greedy bastards.
The government, the opposition parties, UEFA, FIFA, are all opposed to this. All threatening sanctions of one kind or another. There will surely be a climbdown from this on the part of the clubs. Its a relief to see so much opposition to it.
Be interesting to hear the legal side of it. If they've all signed contracts they may be ferked. And have l mentioned that they're all greedy kernts?
I love the kid. In a world of money and swag and all that, here’s a lad barely in his 20’s that gets the world and wants to use his position for good, in so many ways. He’s an absolute diamond, almost a throwback to the British gent that stood tall. Top lad.
