I'd laugh if Man City, Liverpool and Man U followed and only Arsenal and Tottenham go into the ESL.

Might be laughing less in 10 years when they're much richer and better than us.

I'd worry ourselves and Man U will be the ones holding the bag. Our owners (and the Glazers) aren't shy about admitting they want a ESL. Although Barca and Real will be the last to pull out, as they're the ones that really really need it for the money.

If that’s what they were banking on then they’re being advised by ****ing idiots.

The rules for the 20/21 season state that, they could simply change the rule to suit via the 14 majority for 21/22.

And that assumes that rule L.9 isn’t an obvious breach of contract and constitutes enough to contravene a clubs membership.

Is this any different from when the big clubs came up with 'Project Big Picture'.

Its all a ploy to push things to be done. Make a big noise and the admin people suddenly get off their arse and start listening.

Agree that I think that Barca, Real and Man U would probably be the last to go - they've got the main posts after all. I think we'd be one of the last, but FSG are slightly more likely to listen to fan and team pressure.

To.be fair, Spurs and Arsenal stand to gain a lot more than we do, so they may hold out longer.

Its no surprise that Chelsea and Citeh were the first to go. Neither stand much to gain in the money department and both have had their CL semis threatened.

Changing the rule to then **** someone out would be a law suit and injunction territory however the rats leaving the ship is far more entertaining.

As I said earlier in looking at the clubs I felt there was an inner circle and the clubs who tagged along.

I did think city and chelsea just say it as no option but no real benefit so it shouldn't come as a shock that they have jumped back to maintain the status quo and thier oil state backing to dominate

I would predict spurs will fall over themselves to get in on the act by the end of the night.

After that I would predict lfc are not in the mindset here. They were clearly all in with their hard sell at staff so I presume it will take a few days for reality to sink in.

Imo the 12 but there are 3 stuff showed some were hedging and in that circumstance the 12 should have been ironclad and it clearly took almost nothing for chelsea to panic and city to follow.

The question now has to be what do the uefa and other types think they can pull off here to punish.

It was never going to happen.

Its a protest against the revamped CL. These clubs want more say in the new CL and not to be Uefa's cash points.

Just goes to show, cant depend on Russian and arabs. Couldnt even rely on the special relation ship between uk and us lol.

Perez will be turned out by real now. He will be the fall guy.

    Lol. Hilariously weak.

Its exposed just how weak uefa are as well but they might get away with it unless the 10 left somehow try something else.

Yeah and it’s massively backfired on the slippery two faced ****houses.

****ing brilliant, and they’ll hopefully come out of this with some form of sanction, they have to.
