Let these ****s **** off to the ESL & bolt the door behind them. Reclaim the game. They are ruthless, determined and have shown their true colours - this is their first attempt, they'll try again.. Europeans may protest, the Far East won't lose any sleep over it and would welcome the ESL.
Haven't read all responses here but personally I won't miss them. Kick them out of the PL, don't let them back in and in a couple of years when the whole thing falls apart let them do a Rangers but start in the Conference North and South divisions. They won't have to carry out their pretend shrieks there
One journalist wrote at the weekend that Abramovich and the Man City owners, unlike the American owners didn't go into football to make money so would be most likely to be the ones to bow to pressure if their fans didn't want it and made it be known. Seems he was right.
Operation Crawl Back. Chelsea and Man City pulling out. More to follow by the sound of it. Don't let them get away with this. Deducting points for bringing the game into disrepute should be a minimum punishment. Re-evaluate this fit and proper ownership rule. Who needs scumbags like this lot?
Exactly right Cunning.... IF they commence next season in the Premiership, start with a 20 point reduction and a 50% reduction in revenue which should then be dispersed to grass routes... actually as this is all about money, make the 6 haemorrhage...
Majority of clubs now pulling out. Atlético and Barca also backing out. City, as reported. Americans clinging on according to one source but for how long? (The Times) RIP ESL
BREAKING: Ed Woodward has resigned as chairman of Manchester United. Woodward’s decision comes after the backlash over the European Super League.
Arsenal is owned by one of the worst men in sport, Stan Kroenke, or as we affectionately call him: StanK. He has to be a big driver behind this fiasco.
need to give them a bit of backdown space rather than starting with the bullets. do remember it was the mental owners rather than the playing staff and fans. and we know exactly what that's like, don't we?
