If we beat them and Sunderland win their next game, it might make the contest for 2nd place a bit spicy...

Spicy is what we’re after. If we’re going to be successful at the end of this season, we need to be red hot

To be honest though good luck to you for the rest of this season (apart from this weekend of course).
If we were to make it to Wembley I'd rather it was against Sunderland again, for obvious reasons :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Facing Peterborough or Sunderland in the two-match semi-finals it would be a very tough job to get through.
But having said that, Lincoln or Blackpool would not be easy options either.

I'm just glad we now have a reasonable chance of extending our season beyond the 46 games.

We'll need to start a bit better than in our last two games, where we've been a bit slow out of the blocks.

BIG test of our defence today.

I have a feeling this might be a shoot out. Posh will definitely have their spells of dominance I think, we will need to weather them.

Adkins sunny outlook has seeped in, so I’m going for a nervy 3-2 win. Against the run of play.

Does Washington come back in? He has been an important player for us, but it would mean a change in formation, and Gilbey has thrived in a 3-man midfield. Does Pearce get rested? He didn't look as though he needs a rest. My team:
    Amos;
    Matthews, Innis, Famewo, Purrington:
    JF-C, Gilbey, Watson, Millar:
    Aneke, Washington.

but I can't see Aneke starting, realistically.

I see Nige going for the same formation as last time (433). It’s predictable but effective.

Washington to come off the bench for one of the wide men.

If Pearce is up for it (of course he is) then I’d play him. I’d rotate Inniss and Famewo considering their injury issues.

Having three centre mids will hopefully stop Poshes tidy passing through the middle.

I think it will be the same team but Innes instead of Famewo. The bench will be strong with Maatsen, Washington, Famewo, Aneke.
