    Match Preview;
After Tuesday's good performance and win against Swansea, we find ourselves 8th, and heading toward a comfortable end to the season. Dykes seems to have hit a scoring run, having scored 5 in our last 5 games, and also getting two assists against Boro. His form, alongside some good performances across the board, seem to have raised the spirits and given us a positive end to a season which looked, at one point, like it might fizzle out into a lower mid-table finish. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect us to do anything mind blowing given we only have three more games left this season, but it bodes well for the future. Winning away at Swansea was brilliant, but no resting on our laurels, as next up are league leaders, Norwich.

Norwich have lost their two (0-1 vs Watford and 1-3 vs Bournemouth) but thanks to their lead at the top and other results going their way, they have been promoted nonetheless. Here's hoping they are basking in the glory of promotion, and may let 1st position in the table slip through their fingers. They remain 5 points clear at the top, in no small part due to Teemu Pukki, and his 25 goals so far. Daniel Farke, their manager, is quoted in an article on their website as saying that, “We are greedy to finish the season is style. We are already promoted but we are also greedy to win the title.” In same article, he also implies they had a big celebration after gaining promotion, despite losing the match that day. Here's hoping there have been more parties this week, and they show up to the Kiyan Prince in a bad way.

Given that they are a Londonish club, and personally, I lived there for a couple of years, I'd be very happy to see Watford pip Norwich to the title...discuss.

    Team news
QPR: Luke Amos, Charlie Owens and Tom Carroll are side lined with long-term knee injuries, whilst Geoff Cameron is a doubt.

Norwich City: Grant Hanley, Todd Cantwell and Teemu Pukki remain doubtful, but could feature.

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!

I think you've left out one of the "Ones to forget"....few of us on here still hold a grudge against them for a certain game in '76.....

Right, time for a massive statement of intent, let’s stuff these flying yellow vermin full of err...stuffing. They are on the beach anyway, already ****ting themselves thinking about the number of goals they will let in next year, especially now the sooper doofer teams will still be there.

3 goal margin for the Rs.

    Cheers Dave.
I don’t really hold a grudge about that, the ref was more to blame and we dropped a couple of other easy points. I just don’t like Norwich, though not on the Col scale.

I was a little too young to remember much about the game other than the result - it was my first season watching QPR as a fresh faced six year-old!

Added...assume it was the April loss that meant we didn't win the league...also lost to them in October and December 76.

Added...but I have to ask, he played a total of 6 games for them over two spells, one in 2006, and one in 2013. How do you remember these things? Or am I just crap at using google search?

I’ve googled Lee Camp enough times for these threads that I know his career backwards. Sometimes though you think of random **** players like Dean Coney.

This will be an intriguing game for both sides. While it’s a chance for us to test ourselves once again against the runaway leaders, we all have that apprehension about which team is going to show up. Would love us to get the win, keep our stock/league position as high as possible and dent the budgies title hopes.
Actually looking forward to this test (foolish idiot that I am!).

Yep I was there too.....bloody Phil boyer was in a different post code to the ground he was so far offside when he scored.....

All their goals were preventable.... dear old Dave Clement trying to head a ball back to parksey for the first.....second scored by someone who'd scored once in a blue moon and had 3 deflections....and boyers offside....

    Bitter moi? Too bloody right....

Nah! You've got that all wrong. You meant to say "Let's hope the pukey, ****ing yellow turds are well and truly up for it and we give them the mother of all hammerings". Something to give us some comfort until we meet them again in just over a year's time.

Fair point. Let me rephrase. " Let's hope the pukey, ****ing yellow turds are well and truly up for it and we can give them the mother of all hammerings 'cos when we go up next season who knows when they will put together a team good enough to play us again." That sounds better doesn't it? .
