I had no problem with Weller per se. I just did not like the music enough to actually go and buy it. It never bothered me if artists were lefty loonies unless their songs were full of it. No time for Morrissey/The Smiths because it was just a dreadful durge.

I bet Ashkenazy’s recordings of Rachmaninov’s Piano Concertos and Rhapsody On A Theme Of Paganini are not available these days. Rachmaninov stopped writing stuff long before Steinman but I have got one of his recordings.

If only I had a degree in accountancy perhaps my taste in music would be better (Eminem? Snoop Dogg?). I just used my straight As in mathematics to avoid taxes.
