If FSG sell, who do we sell to? Arabs? Chinese?

whoever we sell to, it will be rich billionaires who will put making money their primary concern. Fans are not shareholders.

I am thinking now team for europa and team for League for next season

    Kelleher
    Williams Gomez Kabak Tsimikas
    Milner ? keita
Elliott Firmino Jones (move him up here)

Alisson (if we can keep him)
    Taa Konate VVD robertson
    Henderson fabinho thiago
    Salah Jota Mane (right now)

I would personally shift half the first team lol but we won't and can't.

Thiago is an eye sore signing right now Can he get fit enough to improve? 180k per week wages?
Mane - his disinterest is sickening. Turning his back on play while walking about (look back at last two games, he's literally truned his back on team mates still playing and walked back to position instead of even offering an option.)
Firmino legs are gone, no point saying any different.
Ox, never right after injury, never. needs to go.
shaqiri, not good enough, never was but bought cheap.
Minamino - another buy cheap and flip player that stinks up the first team squad. If you buy them do a cheslea and loan them out.
Origi, miles off the standard. Miles off.
keita - he is done too. attidue sucks arse and cost us any change in second leg by his stinking 40mins v real.
Grujic also needs to go, we could have done with him this year but he's bench warmed for porto. (pointless loan played 20% of porto games and mostly as late sub.

    Wijnaludm will need replacing too.

We could flog and replace any of the above but really bring this abck to some sort of reality imo what we need LFC to do is think hard about the future midfield while fixing that front line. A lot of these dead ducks will be waddling around anfield enxt season

So It looks ike a whole new spine to me. CB, CM, ST.

That europa team is "alright" for the group stages.

How to we get back into the top 4? City shows what a team that are just defensively sound can do so thats one part but the forwards are absolutely shocking, Its not going to be easy.

Arabs are the ony group who are logical.

From a fans perspective chinese owners are very dodgy as they can turn off as soon as the party tells them to.

FSG can sell to a richer yank or to arabs, thats it. Theres nobody else rich enough is there?

True about assets etc., but I still don't think that you'd get near 3 billion.

I'l also guessing that Forbes don't have much more information than what's publicly available, though I haven't looked into it.

True but my main point was that if you want FSG out, don’t expect a billionaire to come in and not try to do the same thing

which is a fair point of course!

the snakes like gold, sullivan and brady caling others snakes is the height of hilarity.

They bought into birmingham to try and get into the goldmine of the prem but stated that they were selling up and the council didn't do enough for them (aka free stuff) that the fans wanted them to spend too much and they were too far from london.

the real reason was they were already looking at west ham and the olympic stadium and a short cut to the premier league.

They flogged off birmingham for 82mil and bought west ham offthe bankrupt icelanders for 110mil so they in effect tired to get to the prem or a long time with birmingham then say an aopportunity for gorwth ahd took it (shafting birmingham in the process)

they then did a dodgy deal for the olympic stadium and are sat on an asset they wanted 600mil for not so long ago.

We can discuss how leicesters owenrs shafted their stadium builders etc.

but yet its ok for leeds fans to decide to attack the man utd bus as they are obviously heros and that.

Its fine to act the saint like brady and call others snakes for being power grabbing business people doing the same as they would do given half the chance.

in 2009 brady was arrested for corruption. the investigation collapsed so they got off scot free and are now sat on their fat asset calling others snakes.

    lol.

I'm sure it is an inflated opinion based on brand and other such things. the important thing is that forbes state its up 88% ove rthe past 2 years. that shows something on its own.

what that is is up to the reader i expect.

I've been saying this all along - be careful what you wish for.
Anyone who can afford us will be cut from the same cloth and is unlikely to be any more trustworthy.
As pissed off as I am with FSG, they're the devil we know.

so what do we agree this team needs next season?

My view is CB, CM, ST. right up the middle of the park but who knows.

I would say CB, CM and an attacker. I’m not fussed if it’s a ST or a wide player. In fact I would prefer a wide player like Raphinha as I think we need an injection of pace and someone who can take players on 1v1. Also we have scored plenty of goals without having a proper 9 since Klopp has come in.

The key thing is that they all need to be of starting quality or close to i.e Jota style

    Konate and Kabak
    Bissouma
    Raphinha

Then we need a back up to Trent.

That is probably more than £100m and maybe quite a lot more which i can't see unless we manage to offload AOC , Keita and Matip for surprisingly large sums .

I'm sure a few can be done later in the window on firesale type fees but theres no way anyone will be queuing up for any of them.

those who might want a phillips are the types that will wait for the bargain fee.

for example wilson has gone from a 25mil player at derby to now a 5 mil player. In fiarness he's got a few assists at cardiff and has played the mojority of games at cardiff but he really has found his level. Thats the market now ,would a few clubs want him? sure. will they queue up? no. Will they want to pay our fees? no. At leas that my opinion.

the hardest to shift imo will be Ox and keita. I can't see any club touching that mess with a barge pole.

I reckon we will be stuck with them and loan a couple more of the not needed types out again.
