But you chose a subset of the recent form that tried to make him look bad. You gave a 13 and 14 game span for the other 2 managers in the comparison, yet only 6 for LJ, knowing full well they lost a few of those (for the first time since Dec I might add). You claim others are obsessed, yet your actions always seek to portray him in a negative light. Just saying, as I'm over the whole did he do a good job/poor squad argument.
I've read it, I understand your loyalty, I know how he impressed you, in your eyes he was unfairly treated, you dislike him being criticised, you would like it if he was still our headcoach, fair play to you, I can't say anything else.
Nope, he had his chance and fell short of the standard he was set by SL. I always supported him and wanted him to succeed, you didn't, and your slating of him since is evidence of that. Don't try and pin that on me.
Now I'm confused, you are saying he had his chance, he wasn't up to the required standard set by SL and obviously got the boot, that is precisely what I have been stating, since his exit, I agree with you, you did want him to succeed and supported him, no argument so what am I pinning on you., I always supported Bristol City FC and thought LJ was below the standard required to manage them, he was sacked just for that, I admit I always thought he was and still think SL did the correct thing in moving him on. I agree with you, I've already said in a polite fashion I understand your reasons for disagreeing with me, we are not that far apart now, so why not just let the matter drop?
Good result for Sunderland again last night. Have to say that LJ is doing a grand job of stabilising them in L1 Sky Sports analysis revealed that at the beginning of April, Sunderland were just 3 points off the top of the L1 table. Since 'streakys' latest run, (no win in the last 7 and 4 of those were defeats) they are now 13 points off top spot and the chance of automatic promotion has gone and even a playoff spot isn't guaranteed, although is still likely.
Need 1 point if Oxford or Charlton lose or draw but may need 3 points if Charlton win their remaining games.
I think LJ has done well at Sunderland …. he was tasked with 31 games to get them in with an opportunity to play championship football in 21/22 ... 30 games played and in the play off's to date played 30 and amassed 52 points upping the 1.6 per game [ 72 points /74pts ] when he arrived to 1.73 [ 76pts / 80 pts] and 1 to play in both cases …. he has only lost 6 games to date also won the cup /as we did! disconcerting is Peterbro are auto due to the efforts of Sammie SMOZ 15 GOALS 43 GAMES AND 82 SHOTS we sold him on for a song... and what position were we in need of? Now next season we are likely to face him... unless NP see's him as a good prospect and …….
