Another indication of Ashley’s phenomenal stewardship. https://www.shieldsgazette.com/spor...ung-magpies-crash-out-of-fa-youth-cup-3216453 ****ing 6-1 defeat.
I actually watched it and it was embarrassing there was no shape or plan, it was like men against boys physically and mentally, although we got a goal back on the stroke of half time, Villa were streets ahead in movement and thought and should have added at least another 4 goals in the second half to the three they scored you could see the Bruce influence
In all fairness villa are the 5th richest club in the league and have been investing alot. Villa are the the old villa they're going to be up there in a year or 2
Well after those idiots at NUST launched their embarrassing fund raising scheme which can be likened to a group of 6 year olds saving up 60 pence to buy the local sweet shop they then went on metro radio saying they're against billionaire owners owning the club yesterday. These guys are hilarious... They've saved up an embarrassing amount of 60k and think the fans owning the club is a good idea. We're soon to hear the NCSL guys latest in the gazette... Apparently he believes he's got a huge story that will play a huge part in getting the takeover through. Seriously these guys
I'm all for fan representation, but the only way it can be done is if law-makers actually pull their finger out. Here's the example of why none of it is fit for purpose - the Premier League's own rules state that a club MUST hold a minimum of two fan engagement meetings a year. We haven't held one since 2019. What's the consequence? Nothing. I appreciate it's a fine line, however. To Newcastle fans, the gripes of Arsenal's and Man U's supporters seems laughable. But to a mackem, Newcastle fans' woes are equally ridiculous. So you can't just pander to every fan group. As for NCSL, they constantly come across as petty and, to be honest, a bit thick. Both NUST and NCSL are doing more to undermine the fan base than anything good.
I think fans need to know their place these days wgich is quite simply a customer and a supporter. I'm sorry, but all this 'OUR' club nonsense is ridiculous because it's quite simply and factually not their club at all. I think the fans and paying customers have the right to be treated with respect and made to feel important, but as far as being involved in big decisions it's a resounding no from me because they haven't got a clue how to run the football club.
