My first thoughts exactly, but thinking about McFuz., is he is a decent enough L1 player ? my ratings for what they are worth are, his attacking ability hovers around 5 or 6, but at defending he's an absolute horror show 1 at best, plunging to to an all time low of 0 more often than not. Surely even the box tickers can see this.
Plymouth first came into League div 3 in 1920 and were 11th in the first season. Divisions 3 South and North came into being the next year with Plymouth being in the Southern division. There was only one team promoted from each division. Over the rest of 1920's Plymouth finished: 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and finally in 1929/30 they were champions and were promoted. Those first six years must have been a tad annoying.
I reckon we'll coast this with a 4-1 victory. An aggressive fight back after Tommy Tynan nets a shock 30 second lead for the Ginster boys.
Think we'll win 0 - 1 and improve every game now culminating in a 5 game unbeaten run seeing us thrash the living daylights out of the team we play in the fifth game. From a team that couldn't buy a win at Wembley for nigh on 50 year to winning there twice in one season. https://tenor.com/view/panther-black-panther-wild-animal-gif-15861685
For the first time in a few weeks won't be able to watch tomorrow So a good win and a good performance is a certainty. Streaky Johnson has had his bad streak. Time to kick the doom and gloom into touch and get ready for back to back Wembley wins.
He was a massive Plymouth fan He was also a director of Plymouth for a few years. You're comment made me do a bit of googling Didn't realize that they actually registered him as a player for his 90th birthday http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/plymouth_argyle/3129167.stm
Is that a bit like your play off appearances coming second? It is a bummer though. Michael Foot was Argyle from head to toe. If you cut him he bled green blood. Nothing to do with football. He was actually a Martian. I will be at my son's tomorrow watching on iFollow as per normal with a large glass of wine for company. I could watch it in my own house but I'm too tight to pay the £10 fee and he buys the wine as well. I look forward to being disappointed for yet another weekend.
What was Danny saying mate, I'd be interested to hear his thoughts on the team. He's a knowledgeable bloke but I only hear his opinion when he's in diplomatic mode doing the commentary.
Gone for the draw, although also reckon we’ll go unbeaten in last 5 games as we head back to the Championship
