I really, really hope so. Barry Bannan Scott Twine Matt Crooks Lewis Wing P. Camara Jordan Graham Ben Amos Daniel Ballard off the top of my head there’s players who would improve us
So is it the team or the manager? Make your mind up! You NEVER celebrate wins. You are ALWAYS waiting fir a negative. You post next to nothing during one of the best runs of results this club has seen in a long time. You welcome a win with a “sack the manager” post ffs. You are literally the worst type of supporter there is. Bar none. Support the team or just **** off
Bet I’ve put more money over the clubs coffers than you have over the last few years, with all due respect.
That includes cup games too though, those meaningless wins mean nothing. We should have chucked that competition. If we lose to Lincoln, then we would have played v wigan the Saturday of Wembley weekend, probably won as they were in awful form, and would have occupied 2nd, something we haven’t done all season.
Right sort yoursen out Sunderland, win the playoffs final, we might need the 6 points nexts season. Good luck
So you’re a miserable negative **** who’s spent money on the club he loves to see fail? What a ****ing stupid thing to say! I’d love to know how you come to that conclusion. Season card/ticket years (longer than I dare to recall) only season I can remember since early 90s I didn’t have one was the year my daughter was born (2010) and I still went to every home game! All home and away and third shirts. Including every Wembley ltd edition shirt.
He turned us down to go to Mk dons though which implies he’s a mercenary choosing that soulless club over us.
So you think it’s pointless winning a cup? You also say you are only interested in league games, where Johnson is only beaten by Jack Ross who had a full pre season, transfer windows and still got sacked as he was failing.
I absolutely do not love to see the club fail. Seeing Sunderland succeed is something I want more than anything in the world. This club has made me negative though. Since 2016 (well I would argue the turning point was 2011 when Bruce destroyed a team with the potential to challenge for the champions league), it’s been nothing but failure upon failure despite different players managers, owners, players .... I get annoyed when I see Watmore and McNair never get injured at Boro but always did here (don’t wish them harm but it makes me wonder what goes on at the training ground), when Grigg seems capable of scoring goals everywhere but here, when players we shouldn’t have let go like Egan end up 2 divisions above, when players with regular championship football like Scowen come here and look so bad you’d think they were plucked from a Sunday league in Jarrow .......
Ross should have been sacked within hours of our pathetic capitulation at Wembley, the day I learned the club will always be **** for the rest of my lifetime. Our biggest mistake was giving him another summer. It seems as a club we just can’t get anything right, look at the amount of injuries we get every season, clubs like Liverpool have Been unlucky, but here every season without fail we just get injury, upon injury, upon injury, why?
Another fundamental error. Millwall fans said he would do well with us, someone else who’s talent evaporates as soon as they sign on the dotted line here.
League table is all that's relevant to be fair. May be worth looking at the fixtures that Parky was in charge for as compared to LJ. Also if you're talking PPG then we should look at this season as they are earned against the same opposition. (i've ignored the Wigan match as he was only appointed that day. Parky's fixtures this season equate to 1.714 per game for these fixtures only playing one match against a side above us on the table at the moment and only 5 matches against sides in the top 10. LJ has 1.733 per game however 15 of those matches were against top 10 opposition. Stats can be manipulated any way you wish and as is clearly obvious LJ has a superior PPG this season against superior opposition. So, What exactly about him makes it a dreadful appointment?
I've supported 'this club' as you describe it for nigh on 50 years and I've seen good times as well as bad. I've seen the Lads parade the FA Cup through the streets of Sunl'n and win promotion with some wonderful teams and I've seen some teams I'd rather forget but I've always wanted the best for every one of them cos this is my club, they wear the colours I identify with, as a group of fans we are known for our passionate support for our club regardless of our league position. You on the other hand you appear to not be a Sunl'n supporter, just some internet tosser who gets off by trying to wind up real Lads fans. How many posts have you made praising the team or reminiscing good times supporting the club you claim to follow up and down the country. At the risk of getting a ban, not a hardship really as I can still read the forum regardless. I'd like to tell you to **** off and I hope every other good Lads fans does to. I'm not suggesting you get chased from here but be told every time you post your ultra negative drivel to just **** off and keep ****ing off. Wise men say only fools rush in but I can't help falling In love with you, Sunderland... Sunderland...
So how have you probably spent more money on the club than me then? Explain that comment. And you can stick “with all due respect “ up your arse! why, if this is how you feel, do you react like you do only to negative results And even react negatively to positive results like today? The club cannot make you negative. I’ve been going since 1981. Seen more relegation than probably you. Seen more negativity than a lot. Yet I still look for positives. You don’t. You revel in negativity. Without it you don’t post. What is the last positive post you put on? The last thing supporting this club and it’s players?
