That's spot on in my opinion. Some MP's can get away with doing sweet FA because they're deemed to be in a safe seat. They don't have to prove themselves to anyone.

as did Starmer when he got his bullies to manhandle a landlord to stop him being thrown out of a pub but typically more physical than conversational

That landlord is a nutter, imagine going on like that in public. Imagine claiming that Covid isn't really a problem for the UK. Mr Angry is alive and kicking in Bath.

totally agree mate the landlord is a dick but that doesn't give Starmers bodyguards carte blanche to man handle him, he can decide who he wants in the pub,I wouldn't be seen dead in there, but Starmer was looking raise his profile by mixing it with the minions, and blew the **** up i his face. As a few people have said politicians are all the same fiddling scumbags, who you pick is down to who will do the least amount of damage in your eyes,Brexit did it for me as now we are seeing what a bunch of ****s europe really is.

I would also like to add i saw on the news how Spain is treating expats and i thought of you wish you all the best and hope they are not fooking you around too much

From that article: "The PM treats facts like he treats all his relationships, utterly disposable once inconvenient" said by a former Tory minister. Brilliant, sums him up in one sentence.

The, " duty " of the press , especially the BBC, which extracts money at the pont of a legal gun, is to report facts. That is difficult, requires ability, hard work, time, patience and , in the case of political matters, nuetrality.

All of these qualities are almost entirely absent at the BBC and in most of the press.

Witness the absurd gathering at the feet of Dom Cummings, a man they utterly loathed a few months ago, but whose word is now a sacred text.

They are limited rumour mongers, caught out time and time again, especially the BBC, who apologised eight times last year alone for breaking its own rules on neutrality.

They can't help it. They all think the same way, and their partiality has to be pointed out to them. And then its just another apology.

Regardless of what colour rosette they are wearing, has anyone ever seen a poor politician? They are all a bunch of self serving t**ts. Don't think any of them can lie straight in bed. Can any of them answer a straight yes or no question? I have to admit to having a very dim view of ALL politicians, scum of the earth the bloody lot!

And the honourable "duty" of a man in a position of power, such as Boris Johnson, accused of wrongdoing by those nasty press and the evil BBC is to clear his name by proving that they are indeed false with irrefutable evidence to the contrary. I will not hold my breath. <laugh>
