Unfortunately not, I generally look forward to a cup final, even if I think we are underdogs.

Waiting for the match at the moment is more akin to a long Sunday waiting to go to a ****ty job on Monday.

Tbf, he's set a rather low bar up to now.

    anyway, greenwood to start today?

Utd played thier very best team and kept going hard to eventually hammer roma. It wans't like it was a total stroll so we have no excuses really, utd don't have that many players to be resting half a dozen.

Phillips? no word that he got back into any training as far as i heard so we can assume the same back 4 as last game out.

after that I can't see us being adventurous here with 4 forwards and frankly i don't want to see mane again this season. his head is gone and he needs to go off and think about whether he wants to be a first team player. He has fallen so far from the oh real might want him talk of last season to the point where now honestly he would be in a conversation between him and shaqiri as a sub.

same for firmino. Nobody was ever buying him but his fall has be hoping we play 6 at the back like bloody mourinho and stick jota and salah up top to run after long balls. Its that bad.

    ah well.

at least we have boring james milner. always gives his all.

That’s sort of the point mate, he’s usually about 3/1 to be booked as he can’t tackle for ****, and he’s done me proud a few times this season. Away at United fits the MO perfectly.

Especially if, as at Leeds, Jurgen decides to play him for 90 minutes in a three-man, veteran midfield, Mind you, Jurgen doesn't do any other formation. And I'm surprised he hasn't slotted in at CB yet.

If you can get 3 to 1 it should be almost like printing money.

Everything about it from the bigger pitch and more athletic utd side to the rivalry and need to win suggests its absolutely inevitable.

I just can't see it. United don't need to rest players for the second leg of the semi now, and much as I think they're being completely over-hyped if you look at how they've scraped through several league games in the last few months, the point is, they've done just that. I think they'll beat us with a gear or two to spare I'm afraid, and another afternoon of watching Mo trip over the ball, Mane doing his push-and-run thing without the run bit at the end, and Bobby letting the ball roll over his foot, overhitting three-yard passes and under hitting ten-yard ones, and Trent playing as a right-winger as the ball whips over his shoulder to Rashford to and Greenwood to be pathetically 'pursued' by a chugging, asthmatic Thiago awaits.

I can see us securing UEFA places though if Burnley, Palace and Soton are safe and West Brom are already down when we play them, providing other clubs inadvertently do us favours too.

BT commentator refers to all eyes onto old trafford tomorrow with city knowing it could be the day they win the title.

85mins gone at selhurst shed and its so dull that they have time to start the narrative that utd must win tomorrow.

Man Utd fans have broken into Old Trafford and are protesting on the pitch. Delay to the match?

Doubt it, but good to see fans using their power to make a very valid point.

It actually looks a bit more serious than just a few where over 200 involved and utd stewards let it happen including moves made towards the tunnel.

Flares and several dozen on the pitch.

They are like rednecks invading the Capitol taking back democracy ;)

I've read that they plan to block the coaches too. Although with the game less than 80mins away, I'd be surprised if they're not already there

Looks like a lot of kids in there tbh. A few experienced face coverers but mostly very young probably 12 to 18 types

I would agree theres no way the teams are not already in early. They knew about protests.
