And Neville got irked by this and actually pleaded with Liverpool fans to follow suit.... thats one way to guarantee they'll errrr not do that...

Its not easy to sit and commentate without getting yourself in trouble.

Richard is sat there and is more agreeing with Souness, I think keane is sort of in between but wont say anything against the hooligans. Nevilles saying they were right. Thats the difference.

Just as some fans used the ESL as a stick to beat the involved clubs with, there will be those who try to use this as an outlet for their tribal differences.
The thing about the anti-ESL protests was the argument that the fans of all clubs are important and need to be listened to. This will only serve to make all of us look like 80's style hooligans in the owners' eyes.

sky have pulled a lad from somewhere to show what was going on outside.

He's mentioned people getting hurt. we don't know what that means. A lot of clean up underway clearly.

Clearly they don't want to tip their hand when this game starts for fear of fans coming back.

the best thing sky could do is media blackout around the ground and let these talking heads shut the **** up about it. they are now into speculating about who man utd should buy lol.

The only way you can effect the owners, sky,bt etc is for fans to not turn up for a month once they can.....except.... this year without fans convinced these owners to make deal to make them irrelevant.... so doing it now will convince them further.... and of course there are probably enough tourists that will fill the United and LFC fans seats that stayed away...

Neville hates the Glazers, always has done. Doesn't matter what they do or did, any reason for him to bash them is an opportunity. The ESL has presented him with the chance that people might listen to him.

I don't understand his point that ManU and Liverpool should be out there being some kind of protector for the rest of English football. Its not their job, thats what the EFL and FA etc are supposed to be.
These clubs aren't immune from finanical trouble and nobody wants to end up like Leeds in the early 2000s. And whilst there is a right way and a wrong way to go about things, these clubs are always going to look for whats best for their interest first.

Newcastle fans couldnt get themselves organised used to stay away from st James.

We barely got a 77min walk out. It worked but it cost the club big time on the pitch ot off it and has imo meant the owners still have not built the anfield road end.

Owners if more this stuff and all that happens is more bad press for your cause.

All we need now is news a steward got hit by something thrown as utd owners wont cover it up.

I presume it was sky property smashed so they will not highlight that.

Basically, the protesters have got what they wanted. Game being postponed sends the biggest message.

Hopefully the ones that have gone too far all get punished
