I read earlier that the taser was active in the guy for 33 seconds( which is 3 times normal time or whatever) and then kicked him in the head. Obviously I have no idea if it is correct, but to be honest, it is the kicking a man in the head when he is down that makes it worse for me.

Let's not pretend that cops are nice guys. Of course we need them, but a lot of them are arseholes. I wouldn't necessarily call them racist though.

The first two attempts to deploy the taser didn't work
Maybe he had to deploy it for longer before it started to work?
It would be interesting to know why he had to kick him in the head - when you struggle with a nutter sometimes you have to use extra force
Saying: "I am a police office. Please stop trying to attack people." doesnt always work
You dont seem to have waited for the defence story

Depending on which source you like to believe, a monkey was hanged after being found from a French ship that had been wrecked near the fishing village Old Hartlepool.

With no contemporaneous accounts of the proceedings, it is amazing that BLM have not organised a protest in Hartlepool as the monkey almost certainly would not have been white.

Given that no maritime records exist of any French vessel being wrecked in that area during the Napoleonic Wars, it looks like somebody has been monkeying around.

I know a fair few coppers, some are really good at what they do, but some really do fit the profile as inadequate ****ers that are hiding behind a uniform and a system that's often stacked on their favour. They are more anti-social or even sociopaths than racist though. Tricky bit is, you probably have to have a degree of that to want to do the job.

I guess if it's anything, it's systemic arrogance.

*several times in the head, so hard that there were permanent marks from his shoelaces.

They also twatted him with a baton a few times just to make sure.

    ****s are murderers ffs.

There are clearly, but not all socially inadequate types can manage to work that out. Most, if not all bullying, which is what that is, stems from fear and inferiority.

I am not sure of the whole story. So was the ex Villa player attacking people? I am guessing a decently trained policeman or woman could have got him in some lock as opposed to booting the poor **** in the head.
I know a guy in the Birmingham sharp shooter bit and I know several in SO17 etc. My point is the normal cops aren't trained well enough.

I know some of the armed plod, and some of them are among the last people I'd ever give a gun to. Another covers a large rural area, and rarely even uses handcuffs.

Ah ok, I thought he had been found guilty already? As I said, I didn't really know the story, I thought he was already been found guilty. If trial still going on, then that is different.
I suppose you could say that about any army in the world too.

You could, although their engagement with people is different. I think the Police want to see themselves as military, as I know they describe us as 'civilians'. Part of the problem is that their role is split, and they need to change from beat plod (which is not what many joined for) to robocops, which seems to be the aim, depending on the situation. They don't solve many crimes in a Sherlock Holmes style, they need information from a public that they are constantly distancing themselves further and further away from, so don't get the respect and support they need, and feel they deserve.

This will only get worse as their 'crowd control' training is actually 'riot control' so they treat every crowd as a riot, or at least a potential one. In my view, the military would be better used for crowd control, and plod for solving/preventing crime.

It's not the same for all forces, I've met some where the overall policy is, we'll have a laugh and a joke, and point out where the line is. Stay the right side, we'll all be fine, go the wrong side, and we'll be down on you like a tonne of bricks. Which is fine in my eyes.
