Hornets v Swans. Watford close their successful season with a home game against Swansea. The visitors haven't been on great form recently, but have a guaranteed place in the play-offs to think about. Will Muñoz's men play out the season with a whimper and two consecutive losses? The last game against Brentford was certainly a dissapointment. Nevertheless, with promotion and second place secured it might be a chance to give some of the squad a rotation. Some better informed people might be able to let us know what records are up for grabs. I believe our defence and home form this season could break some of them. Let's go out in a blaze of glory as we head into the Prem. Team news to follow: ¡¡COYH COYH COYH!!
https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/19284001.watford-several-players-swansea/ Team news: Ismaila Sarr is very unlikely to participate with his injury being closely monitored, while Nathaniel Chalobah, Tom Cleverley, Kiko Femenia, Jeremy Ngakia, Joseph Hungbo and Tom Dele-Bashiru are all ruled out with various problems. Pedro, Sanchez and maybe Deeney available.
I think that if we needed to win, they would have taken a different view on the edge cases injury wise and they would have been patched up where possible Academic now though, cos WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE!!!
Sarr is in this picture - do we think this is the squad for tomorrow? https://mobile.twitter.com/WD18Fans/status/1390739393359618049/photo/
Impressive bench! Interesting to see how the others do today, fair enough to give other squad members a run as by all accounts they have been very supportive. Afternoon all, win/loose who cares, enjoy the game. Emma's T Shirt - wow what an appropriate colour.
Well we know the full backs aren't good enough or Gray and Success but they surely have one good game in them? The central defence and midfield is still quite experienced and good enough to give Swansea a game. I can see Deeney on for Gray or Success at HT. Willmott seems to be out of favour.
As Tommy Mooney just said "the nine on the bench could probably get a result against the starting eleven"... Would love to know what Wilmot has done to basically be ignored.
Yes - a strange one. We sign these youngsters, hype them up and never play them. Even Pedro only got in the team this season as we had so many injuries. And Sarr was hardly first choice when he came! Sema has needed a break for weeks yet still plays.
Gray and Success in the shop window says GNW. Hope they play well enough to get some buyers interested.
The trouble is Gray earns so much he'll find it hard for any club to pay him the same whilst Success still has 2 years left on his contract!
