There is also a lovely clip of him playing FIFA football with a young Palace fan, and losing. He is apparently going round to meet him as part of the bet. I have told you how I met him too, as a friend at his church told him about me. Not only did he phone me for a chat but I met him after a match and he gave me his shirt. He was lovely
Google pushed a news story at me on Bright Osayi Samuel being injured as it thinks I'm still interested. Was then curious (fine, Google does know best) and looked up his stats for Fenerbahce - 1 goal and 1 assist in 13 games. Lost his place in the first team apparently and the fans don't seem to like him all that much from the little I read. Not sure who was advising him at the time, but hard to understand why he picked Fenerbahce over Club Brugge, although the answer is probably, as ever, £££.
The Lesser Spotted Ramkilde how long has he got left on his contract? Surely he'll be bumped at the end of the season?
He’s on an 18 month contract which started in March 2020, kind of weird. Bit of a scouting balls up this one. He’ll be paid off I guess.
Great interview with Lyndon Dykes on the podcast this week - he can't wait to play in front of the fans and keep banging in the goals for us... Lyndon calling - Podcast Thursday, 6th May 2021 17:54 by LFW QPR's rampantly in form striker Lyndon Dykes is the special guest on the penultimate Open All R's Podcast of the season. Dykes has gone from no goals in 23 to seven goals and three assists in nine QPR outings. The Scottish international talks to David Fraser, Paul Finney and Chris Charles about the turnaround, his first season in the Championship, and his hopes for the future at Loftus Road.
Scottish media are reporting the good news that Dykes had a scan on his knee, and no serious damage was found. He is expected to be ok for the Euros.
I thought Warburton was really good on the QPR podcast too. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/qpr-podcast/id968873601
Excellent interview by Warburton, very honest. Sad to hear Dave Fraser is giving up hosting the podcast - now we've got to rely on Paul Finney to run the show
