I'll take the bet PS Can't believe you got outclassed by such a bad injury ridden RM side @Spurlock Write it up pls
Torres bought for 21m(if I remember right) then sold for 50m to the chavs 35 on Carroll and the rest plus a little change to get suarez. Try again
They outclassed an injury ridden side themselves So we'll need the 5 lowest cl final viewing figures, I'll have a look about later and post em up. @Spurlock do ya thing bru.
You silly man, you have to take net spend into account when talking about Liverpool. No one else mind, just Liverpool. Like Chelsea spent £300m, as he said, and didnt make a penny in sales.
Yeah remember that line Carroll cost -£15m or some such nonsense but my point being was Liverpool always spent big so to accuse City and Chelsea of buying trophies is a bit rich, just saying.
Liverpool bought Beardsley Aldridge Barnes in 87 with Littlewoods pools cash Imagine how much players of those quality would cost now
All you sales that come in now are a result of you paying silly amounts for players previously. Not to mention your well documented hoarding of young players and loaning them out on loan til they're 26 and then selling em for 40m one way to cook the nunbers I guess. So that's stifling young talent while keeping them from other clubs added to the endless pots of money at your disposal.
Spent big after selling big. Bit different to buying a pair of full backs at 60m a pop then dumping them the next season cos you just bought another two fullbacks at 50m a pop and if they don't work out no worries, they can go on loan or sold at a loss and we'll grab another two fullbacks at 5pm a pop. Give the **** over like
