I already said the police failed to deal with it. But they were not the whole story were they?. You can swear and rant all you like it will not bother me. I know the full story i have watched the programme about it.
So you do not believe any of the ticketless thugs who went that day contributed to that sad day.
Why swear? Thought you were a mod?. Perhaps you are a thug too.

You watched a programme about it and reckon you’re an expert, which programme was this then? Go on enlighten me.

I’m sure it totally trumps the findings of the year long inquiry.

The thing is, I lived through it, we were at the other SF and the truth and reality of it is, that 96 football fans, including kids, went to a match and never came home. Thanks to the complete incompetence of the coppers on duty, and the ground was not safe. It could have been us had our tie been called for Hillsborough, and I’ve always stood alongside the reds on this issue, from the minute that ****rag printed those hideous lies following it.

And I call things as I see it, and this forum allows swearing, oh and I’m not a mod on this board, so go **** yourself.

If the ground was deemed to be not safe then the f.a. should have been charged with incompetence, why has this never been brought up....fact is people acted irresponsibily that day be it police or fans or a combination of both

Of course the police were incompetent and lied and failed to act. Plus that tunnel and the way they crammed in. Everyone knows that but the ticketless who pushed in are blameless? The hell they are.
Show me where i said the 96 were to blame... Go on you scouse tosser. Now you go **** yourself.

It didn’t have an up to date safety certificate ffs, and was in breach of safety standards. The FA said in court that checking safety of ground for SF selection was somehow beyond it’s remit. The secretary of Sheff Weds was prosecuted. So yeah it’s never been brought up.

Tobes, I've no axe to grind with Liverpool. They've been the source of some fabulous football over the years (due entirely to the massive Scots contingent, of course!).

However, you seem to be easily irritated on this one. What the lads on here are trying (rather inelegantly) to say is that without the behaviours of the Liverpool fans, there wouldn't have been any need for the police to take any knee-jerk action, incompetent or otherwise. There is absolutely no doubt about that. The aftermath is almost entirely down to the cops, but the Hillsborough disaster was caused by many factors, including some fans, some police, & a stadium that should never have been used.

Anyone who claims that Liverpool fans were guilt-free, are either deluded or liars. Unquestionably. A large crowd of them played a major part in this, & there's no denying it.

(This from someone who hates (most) police).

The stand wasn’t even at capacity you clueless ****ing spanner, the issue was the outside gates were opened and they were all shunted into the central pens, the outside pens were half empty.

In that case what remit does the f.a. hold if not to oversee things like ground safety certification is in order surely it is the f.a. who chose the venue for semi finals or does anyone throw their ground into the mix....still doesn't alter the fact that a combination of ticket less fans and lying police where to blame

Because the Police match day plan called for them to be opened if as regularly occurred at big games .a crush started occurring outside . However the same plan called for officers to be stationed at the end of the tunnel to direct fans to the side pens and this Duckenfield did not do leading to the fatal crush .
Nice to know the inquests public enquiries were all a waste of time and we should have just asked you lot .<doh>

No one on here means any disrespect to the dead, but are saying that a percentage of blame could be directed at Pool supporters. The enquiry may have been completed, but even enquiries can get it wrong and even done to appese the anger of the victims families. How long did it take from the time of Hillsboro to the enquiry being completed. <ok>
