Tbf to Klopp - I think he was already preparing to change things up and evolve but we suffered so many injuries this season combined with a hectic schedule, he just simply couldn't.

However, I do wish he showed more courage when we were going through the awful run but instead stuck with the 'tried and tested' system with his 'tried and trusted' players.

I think he is a detail guy. It doesn't look it at times but it really is details and the lack of time plus covid basically ruined his preseason and imo hes not recovered from it the system was never right and the fitness levels were never right.

This is my hope for next season. Even with zero players we should be 50% better

Me too. Plus having a top class defensive structure (VVD + Another + Fabinho at DM) will make us much stronger and we will hopefully be able to see out games. Yes, our attackers have squandered a lot of chances but we have still taken the lead in a lot of games only to throw it away in the last 10 mins.

The other thing is, that without Virgil and Hendo there's no real driving force - nobody really authoritative enough to organise the others and push them into greater effort during a game.

it is a bad thing when what you are really saying is they are not leaders.

    Robertson is captain of scotland.
milner ought to be driving it.
salah is imo working hard by example

fabinho is a quiet lad, we all know it, wijnaldum never opens his mouth. thaigo seems content to just drift along frankly. Frimino doesn't seem to open his mouth. mane doesn't either but also doesn't seem to want to be there.

I don't think most of these guys should need organising, they are senior pros who have been found out a bit. honeslty you want your players to at lead understand they have to do the work and give the example i nthe games not look to others.

I think personally fabinho really looks lost at CB after being pushed back again with phillips hamstring. I really don't think he wants to do it again. Thats mindset. Put him no 6 and he might drive us along.

but you want all 11 on a level, i hold klopp repsonsible for putting 11 out that will. even if ****. I can see a mile of mane doesn't want to be there and his head is not right for example.

In an ideal world no, but in reality they do.
I agree Robbo could perhaps do more, but he is a Weegie, so they probably can't understand him.
Milner doesn't play all the time, and is more of a leader by example, I think.
I think we all get by now that you've got it in for Mané, no need to labour the point.

:) if he'd just show one iota of giving a **** I'd be in his corner.

Anyway, yeah you want your leaders right down the middle of the park

Alisson needs to do more, vvd is a miss as you say but the midfield is bereft and the stirker role is vacated as well. its an entire spine ripped out really isn't it?

    LFC are like our mods..

Robbo probably just sounds like this to all the foreign lads.

I had imagined you had a white ponytail before when you mentioned it once or twice.

Did you get a stripe cut through and dyed blonde?

What was all that about being mean? :)
My hair's not white, just a sort of pale and interesting blonde. It looked more like Boris Effin' Johnson's rug beforehand.
    Nightmare.
