The Leicester game felt like a bit of a turning point to me and I think that we will see a battling and committed performance tonight. It might not be enough to get a result but I've predicted a 1-1 draw and we always have a chance of scoring from a JWP deadball situation.
This season has changed my worries from the opponents beating us to the random perverse decisions of VAR and refs. Ralph must wonder whether there is any point having a strategy, because at some point in the match VAR and refs will drop a bomb to radically change the result. Without VAR we have a chance of a draw, with VAR anything is possible.
A Burnley win over Fulham on Monday will guarantee our place in the Premier League next season. Obviously, this will all be irrelevant when we win this evening. I'm going for 2-0 Saints, Che and a JWP top corner free kick
Assuming it's combined with WBA not winning tomorrow. I'll be cheering on Burnley on Monday night, but not because I'm still worried about Fulham catching us. Instead, it's because having their relegation confirmed before we play them we hopefully help us to beat them - and we could really do with ending the season on a positive. Parker can drop all his loan players (none of whom will want to stay), and begin to go crawling back to all the Championship players who got him promoted prior to being discarded.
