They don't want to pass it and I still feel they'll take it to the edge and beyond to try and stop it. Let's not forget there's some horrible ****housery going on from other people with alot of money
the other thing is… the ‘big 6’ will not pipe up if it did go through now as they would be **** scared of being accused of meddling. In fact it’s really in their interests for it to be passed now so they don’t get any more heat.
True but I just think out of the legal cases being dropped on the PL and the current scrutiny surrounding the dirty half dozen approving the takeover would be pulling their pants down. But leaving the thong on!
Someone based in Qatar posting on Newcastle Online says it's common knowledge over there that it's all been verbally agreed. Please, please be true. https://beta.newcastle-online.org/t...eover-edition/?do=findComment&comment=6801583
Competition law is separate. He is effectively using this as a tool to force through the sale of his company - SJH. That is separate from football.
He a stalker and in twitter months ago I posted on twitter that JR and MG were gaslighting the Nufc fans and I said it must be off in a way to goad them in to communicating
The competition claim is the NCSL one, Keith Patterson has come out and said Ashley took on his case. It’s nothing new, it’s the claim that was launched by them last year, which the PL effectively laughed at, but it’s turned out NCSL were in cahoots with Newcastle/Ashley the whole time, and now it’s just Ashley via SJH picking up the baton. Apparently competition law is this Keith blokes thing - and basically whilst many felt it was the PL being biased and corrupt, nobody was willing to call them out on it. There’s many renowned journalists who poured cold water on any claim the PL were shutting it down out of fear or outside influence. They said that just couldn’t be the case and that it was about piracy or state - what always got me was there was no logical reason for needing separation of state. If PIF want to buy or MBS does, neither should be failing this test which is purely about stopping criminals or people without funds owning a club. This was never properly asked nor answered by the PL, I never understood why a journalist didn’t focus on this angle? Always been clear it’s an ulterior motive.
