It was the Xx that got me x

 

Kevin walked into a doctor's office and the receptionist asked him what he had.

Kevin said: 'Shingles.'

So the receptionist wrote down his name, address, NHS number and told him to have a seat.

Fifteen minutes later a nurse's aide came out and asked Kevin what he had....

Kevin said, 'Shingles.'

So she wrote down his height, weight, a complete medical history and told Kevin to wait in the examining room..

A half hour later a nurse came in and asked Kevin what he had. Kevin said, 'Shingles..'

So the nurse gave Kevin a blood test, a blood pressure test, an electrocardiogram, and told Kevin to take off all his clothes and wait for the doctor.

An hour later the doctor came in and found Kevin sitting patiently in the nude and asked Kevin what he had.

Kevin said, 'Shingles.'

The doctor asked, 'Where?'

Kevin said, 'Outside on the truck. Where do you want me to unload 'em??


(In my younger days one of my colleagues was unfortunate enough to get shingles, as it was nearly Christmas we decided to cheer him up by getting around the office phone ringing him up and singing Shingle Bells to him... He did not take our good dead kindly and told us to **** off and put the phone down on us...)

 

There is a whale in the Thames. They have been fannying about with it since at least yesterday afternoon when i saw it on the news. RSPCA, the Fire Brigade, Whale rescue (?) live skyping to a vet. All the safety kit from hard hats to yellow wellies and now it seems as though it escaped from the rescuers and has gone even further upstream. They are monitoring the situation.

Why not just get on and do something, they are going to watch it die.

 

You see it just takes someone to get on and sort it. Job done.

I've been trying to build a new business converting vehicles, and one of my customers is refusing to pay.

I was asked to convert a Scania to a Fire Engine.

I think I made a decent job of it.
