Yeah, it’s been an awful long time since we last met up in the pub before a game. Would love to do it again
Some disgusting racist Tweets sent to poor Nathan Tella from dreadful Liverpool fans, if you follow him on social media get on and support the poor lad
Saw him last weekend. All is well. It's not my place to speak for him but I think he's having a break from here for a while. I have no doubt he'd be happy to hear from you. But you knew that anyway. Vin
Impossible to say anything other than we have imploded since Xmas. For us to go from top 5 in the form table for 12 months to rock bottom in 6 months is startling. Our talismans for want of a better word have been absent and the squad simply isn't good enough to compete. The starting 11 is good but we are looking to N'lundulu, and Obafemi to replace Ings, Diallo to replace Romeu and we have simply no-one to cover Bertrand and KWP. That isn't going away no matter how we feel about Ralph H. Though he has been both in the space of a year Ralph isn't the messiah nor is he the worst manager in the league. I do think he had us setup right against Liverpool but he still hasn't shown a lot of tactiucal nous or flexibility this season . In spite of that criticism, if the aim is to play exciting dynamic football we are achieving it and if the aim is to rebuild at every level then the club have to commit to it and no choice but ride out the problems. Looking at the U18 and U23 sitting at the bottom of their respective divisions there is no bright future waiting for a new manager to come in and reveal. Pound for pound we have probably over performed with our first 11 but our leaders have been Ings and Romeu and players like Redmond, Adams and Walcott are support players. We've struggled when we've had to rely on them to win us games. If Ian is correct and we lose Vesty and Ings over the summer the recruitment team have a hell of a problem as that is the core of our leadership gone for good.
