What about Carroll? I don't see what Joelinton offers us over Carroll personally. Ther'es not a single area Joelinton is better than Carroll, besides maybe pace and being less injury prone.

Carroll's ball control is good, he's better in the air, he passes better and is a better finisher. For a free transfer, how many goals did he play part of when he has a streak of games? I can remember him assisting quite a few.

The only reason we may not play him is because we like to counter attack with pace. Now that we're safe why now play this? -

TBH, I think Gayle and Joelinton have proven themselves so ineffective that we should be playing him, and from what I understood he was on PAYP last season, but was given a 1 year contract.
