why would they put out a strong side 2 days after their last game and 2 days before playing their biggest rival .
Thursday is a bigger game for them, as it’s you lot. Losing tonight had the benefit to them of costing you lot a fortune in lost revenue as well as condemning you to the dreaded Thursday / Sunday routine for a full season.
Good on Leicester though. More deserving of champions league than us this season and put some good work in for a couple seasons now
After the ex-LFC Manager beats United, it"s now the battle between the ex-LFC strikers. Ings 1 Benteke 1
I know this - if the boot was on the other foot I'd do EXACTLY what they're doing. We're in this situation for a variety of reasons, but going from top to losing six games on the trot at home is nobody's fault but our own. And I disagree with Tobes - I truly dont think we'll even make Europy - or worse still, we will make it but will have to play TNS or Crusaders in some qualifier before even the kids have broken up to go on their holidays.
Agent ole has been proudly boasting about stopping City celebrating, has done so every game they won and turned round at every draw or loss and said they were never in it Lols
Of course he would, same as any other manager. The best bit is the RS crying that they were forced to play 2 games in 2 days once, they never mention they played two different teams
Wrong. Not complaining what United did tonight, but will always complain we were ASKED to play two games in two continents in 24 hours. Will never hide that resulted in two different teams - what else could it be? But in the circumstances, it was a ludicrous call by the English football authorities.
Did the English football authorities set the date of your game abroad or insist that you play in it a day after another game?
No, FIFA did. And after the EFL refused to change the date of the VIlla game, Liverpool themselves asked for the LC game to go ahead as scheduled with a substandard side.
Least Liverpool played the domestic competitions still, my club pissed on the heritage of football by pulling out the FA Cup!
Why should they help us when we bloody don't help ourselves? The premiership gave them a perfect excuse to play a reserve team. No one with any footballing knowledge and sense can even think of blaming their manager. No one can argue that no player should fully play 3 consecutive matches in 5-6 days. We should have been in pole position if we hadn't just thrown away these 4 points.
Well, we knew it was coming but that's me now officially severely pissed off, whereas before I was severely pissed off, but it was kind of just for the sake of being pissed off because we've been so ****. As is my fashion. And we didn't even get a ****ing parade when we were Champions last season! Does anyone recall Man City fans protesting against their owners after the Super League debacle? I don't; but then they wouldn't when all the Arabs have to do is stick their hands in their pockets and say, 'Here you go, Have another title or trophy.' Meanwhile, we've regressed five years and most fans think the magic wand of the fans will get us back to winning ways again. Not when the expectation remains just as high and we don't have the personnel to bring it off, it won't. Salah's carried us and Phillips worked his arse off. Flashes of hope elsewhere, but that's about it. We'll just have to wait and see, though, won't we.
tobes is just trying to get a rise As i said agent ole has been bleating on about 2nd, progress and preventing city from winning the title but in reality they have meekly surrendered this title. Incidentally, their progress 66 points. 66points, currently 70 points. could be they get to the heady level of 74 points. Long may he reign.
why would you get angry over the mancs? all of this is what it is. if you are talking leicester they still need to win their remaining games if we win ours and have cheslea next so all it means is we need to win all 5 or at least hope it can go down to the final day where spurs have to beat leicester to get europa In the end as I said yesterday we have one day extra rest than utd and all that jazz so anything else was a bonus and we have to win no matter if utd put out roy of the rovers or a no mark like de gea
