Looking at getting a shirt off the website but the size guide isn’t great. I’m 5’11 and about 13 stone. Reckon I’d get into a medium or would a large be better? Cheers.
My bathroom scales died during the spring lockdown last year. This of course has nothing to do with my increasing girth. And I keep on telling the wife that I only get the larger shirt size so I can wear plenty underneath and keep warm when wearing it at the match in winter. And of course, the wife responds by pointing out that I have enough blubber to keep me warm in the arctic winter, never mind on Wearside!
I’ve got a large and I’m 5’ 6 and 13 stone. Length is good and fit is good. If I lost the weight angle got to the 10 st 7lb I want to be (for running) I’d be comfortable in a medium. Medium would gectoo small IMO rb
I’m having issues with shirts mate to be honest. I’ve always been a medium but just lately I’m finding the length of the shirt doesn’t come down far enough. My old man got me an England rugby shirt in a large a few weeks back and I thought it’d be too big but it’s a nice fit. It’s odd because in chest size (39 inches) I’m a medium.
I found the retro stuff to be quite small made. Normally an L going on XL, had to get a polo in XXL based to the published measurements.
i always go large now, sizes seem all over the place online, made worse by a lot of asian sizes being used... went up to a 4XL for a coat recently after i had to give my two previous purchases away and even that was a struggle to fasten, mind the 2 stone plus i have put on since stopping smoking does not help
Definitely large. The Nike kits are small fitting compared to Adidas. I got large Adidas buy was told about the fitting so went XL with the new away kit and glad I did as Large would have been rather figure hugging
XXL to be sure ... the shop sizes are not very generous... maybe a size more that you would with say a M&S shirt
