Don't agree - Zaha has it coming for his theatrics and petulance.

This Forster and Macca business; do we not think it's better to have a nailed down keeper that the back line trust and know how to play with? Not that I've heard Ralph saying it specifically, but reading between the lines, he would rather have two keepers getting regular game time.

I completely agree, I just think that either of them could be that #1, both have their pluses and minuses. I can't see Ralph going through next season without picking his first choice

Zaha brings it on himself by clearly letting it affect his performance, which makes him a target. Reminds me of Jens Lehmann where players and fans knew if they got into his head he would make a mistake.

Winding him up clearly yields a competitive advantage.

That was the most pleasing thing from last night - we looked just as good as we did in the first half of season. Heads didn’t drop going behind and played properly entertaining football.

Was great to see some direct passing in between the lines last night too - too often this season we’ve not seen a pass and gone backwards. Danny’s movement with Che’s work effort gave JWP options which, sadly has been lacking this season.

also something that probably isn’t said enough; thought the officiating last night was excellent.

It’s almost as though having half our first-choice players out injured or sick affected the cohesion of the team, and getting some of them back fully fit improves things.

Winding a player up is one thing, and I'm not against that. But seeing JWP cheering and pumping his fists when Zaha was sent off, is pretty shameful to be honest.

If a rival player did what Prowsie did, to us, this website would implode with hate.

See Mark Noble, or when any player dives, despite our players doing it regularly (and being **** at it)

I agree to an extent but the fist pump was aimed at the saints fans and was part of an ongoing narrative. Football needs stories and JWP and Zaha seem to really hate each other. Zaha didn't get sent off because of a dive or theatrics, but because JWP quietly pressed all the right buttons until Zaha turned into a baby and made a ridiculous decision. If there had been simulation involved and his cheating got Zaha sent off I would be embarrassed! That isn't what happened.

Windups are constant on the football field. The fact Zaha crumbles to them is on him and not James.

Lots on Twitter about the abuse being thrown at JWP including racist abuse by Palace fans is incredible.
He is like a pantomime villain to them.... funny if it weren't the racist nonsense

You're right. Kouyate definitely didn't appreciate Prowsey's interest in his game!

Remember those January/February days a few years ago when we could not see how we'd get 40 points to stay up? Had a few moments like that this year but something felt we would be ok.

Impossible to know who said what, but if it was that bad there were plenty of players within earshot who could have joined in
I think it was a bit of trash talk and Kouyate was upset they were going to lose
Hi reaction wasn't very professional, it took repeated attempts from his own team to hold him back
Not blasphemy, but innocent until proven guilty

Ah you're talking about last time
I have to admit I felt a bit embarassed about that
Hopefully, won't ever be repeated, just let his emotions get the better of him
