This is the suspect in the Times Square shooting. It is unclear why he started to try and kill people in one of New York's most famous tourist spots.

What is clear is the complete and utter radio silence from the Black Lives Matter crowd. I am 100% positive however that if this poor excuse of a human being had been shot dead by the Police we would already have had a march and seen his Granny weeping on TV about how he was a good boy who always helped with her shopping, loved by all and certainly no reference at all to the list of previous he had, with some twat of a basketball player wearing a t-shirt with Dayshaunique's face on it demanding a murder trial be started immediately.

Take the knee. Slavery. White Privilege. etc.

In American politics, the real Left is very young. In the Democratic Party, look to the likes of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, not the old guard. Bernie Sanders was the typical Champagne Socialist, wanting to tax the middle classes to subsidise the working poor. Sleepy Joe Biden is a popular centrist that has woke up to the Magic Money Tree. If you are going to go on a spending binge then do not go millions, go trillions.

Last week the markets across The Pond started to wake up to the reality of Bidenomics – inflation, probably uncontrollable. The economic numbers were a huge anti-climax, except for the ones that exceeded expectations like Core Inflation and Consumer Price Index inflation. Will the Federal Reserve sit on their hands and allow this to overheat?

Just the two trillion dollars for the American Jobs Plan and nearly as much again for the American Families Plan (childcare and education). The Federal government has quite literally been mailing out cheques (checks) to families. None of this is going to lead to economic growth. It is just ‘free’ money. Just dolling it out provides no control over how it is spent. Any old chancer can claim some free money to build some roads or some bridges risk free. Families gifted free money to spend could stick it into FANGS shares and spend none of it in the economy.

It is astonishing how nobody has learned from the previous failures of Keynesian theory. Anybody would think that the 1970s were when the dinosaurs roamed the planet (other than old Labour dinosaurs). In Britain we should remember Gordon Brown as we will be paying for that PFI splurge for decades.

Multiple gunshots were heard and one person was reportedly shot at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis on the one-year anniversary of the black man’s death.

Report doesn't say if it is some crazed redneck shooting his assault rifle (for home protection) as a protest or just chimps chimping out.

 

I don't go with this " one year anniversary " malarkey. If it's the first you say anniversary. After that it's a number and anniversary. Kapiche?
