I understood, mate. I'm firmly flipped right now, thanks to Mandy. I'll probably flop by Friday. @captain wrong as an investor, they will be looking at the instability of the market and as TV rights deals are THE biggest contributor to revenue, the announcement of a "rolled over" TV deal allows the league to maintain a great source of income, removes uncertainty (which investors hate) and means you know what you're getting with regards support for spending, what is then possible. The less variables in an investment, the better and knowing you have x amount every year in the PL (relegation is a constant risk, mitigated by spend, and they'll have stats and factored that in) is a great source of security and also gives an investor the chance to speculate on future growth, important for a five or ten year plan. Things like this - in my opinion - are key indicators that will help bring the deal towards a conclusion. Obviously the PL O&D barrier remains the biggest issue, but assuming we get past that I don't think there'll be any lack of interest in the club, hopefully and presumably from Amanda Staveley with Middle East backing.
Staveley all but confirming she cannot speak because of the legal action. "At this time." Meaning she will once it is over. NDA - She is part of the legal case so it is not just Mike Ashley or NUFC. Basically it is NUFC and the consortium, including PIF v the PL.
No, the NDA is effective for a stipulated set time frame. Possibly even after an event. I maintain it’s positive and looks very much like it’s bubbling along. But it’s in no way an indication that it’s done. It just means it’s in progress. Arbitration is defiantly happening though. 100%!
'I'm still fighting for this takeover and I tell you something, I will LOVE it if we beat them.' Keeganesque in her determination. The owner you want.
