AZ. Currently flagging a bit at work as well today, but maybe that's because I hate it generally.

Wife gets her second in half an hour, looking forward to some downtime because if she doesn't have any side effects, sure she'll imagine some up which will confine her to bed for a couple of days.

29th May for my second microchip.

The prospects of death and suffering have clearly been overstated for the majority of people, especially those who aren't either very fat or very old. My issue was more with the quasi-religious tone in which people have been speaking about being vaccinated, to the point they ask excitedly whether you've had Pfizer or Moderna or PepsiCo's 'science juice' <doh>

Dunno about overstated, switch on your box and look at India for example.

The vaccine is a talking point amongst people, dunno if you've noticed or not, but it's been, and still is headline news, hence why lot's of people talk about it.

The point of asking which vaccine people have had is to try understand if there is a difference in side-effects.
Whether or not the prospects of death and suffering have been overstated, I'd much rather have a couple of days of mild discomfort than test that hypothesis. Its surely much better than relying on luck, the avoidance of other people, or magic stones <ok>

not sure that the UK's 140,000 dead were all very fat or very old, but I'm sure some were both, and I'm sure some of the dead would very probably fit your demographic whatever that may be. It has killed people of all ages, sizes, origins, and health status.

Channel 4 show on the vaccine programme is very good. They've got some cheek mind, showing the obvious and disgusting politicization of the information by the media as a bad thing when they spent most of the time at the front of the queue to get a dig in.

Getting second jab this afternoon now, brought forward from 29th May. It's at Monkseaton which is just down the road from me, better than having to travel to Washington.

Been nice knowing you all. Lol.

Twenty hours after second AstraZeneca, no side effects at all so far, slept an hour and a half longer, that's about it.

Had my second on Thursday, but in the previous 2 weeks had had a kidney infection, then courtesy of gd a heavy cold... so Friday and Saturday I was due to hit a little ball around an increasingly muddy field.. was too knackered. So a couple of days keeping warm and drinking fluids(?) Should soon sort me.

Now whether it was the 2nd jab or previous bouts if being under the weather heaven knows
