I remember drinking too much of that in the old Fox and Firkin in Lewisham back in the day. I was driven to it by that awful Dogbolter beer they served. Brewed on the premesis and went down fine after the first pint killed all the taste buds in your mouth. Oh to be 21 again.

The first time I tried Fullers ESB was in the Roebuck in Lewisham. ESB is a lot stronger than it tastes and I downed a fair few quite quickly, and I got up to go to the toilet in the night, got lost and pissed in my flatmate's wardrobe.

The Blunderland fans are the tops, the team are a disaster. How many games have they drawn in the past 3 seasons<doh>
Absolute two bob on the pitch, they lost 2-0 tonight.

Still can’t get over the fact that steptoe got a guard of honour at Palace ...he’s only been there 4 years hardly a legend and during that time they’ve finished nowhere and no cup run ..hilarious

Maybe a touch of recognition for his whole long career as a manger?
England aside, he had his moments.

To be honest though, preventing Palarse being relegated for 4 seasons in a row with only one good player is some achievement in itself.

There's a glass ceiling in the Premier League. Only Leicester have breached it.

There may be a glass ceiling in the Prem. There certainly is a floor made of thin ice.

Haven't posted for a while, life was getting a bit depressing but has brightened up a bit after the pub being open for a week and my other business had its first contract this year now that businesses are reopening and able to assess what they can spend on improvements.

On Saturday my show had a set list that was generally anti-war in sentiment. I avoided the "usual suspects" and soiught out more obscure songs from my collection. For those of musical persuasion, here's the set list and a link to the music files. https://we.tl/t-7uc1ypWO88

Set lists for other weeks can be posted and links to files sent if there is any interest.
