If the greedy Premier League would make that Parachute money they're not having to pay next season available to non-league football,
about 800 Clubs could have £100,000 Each.
Imagine what a difference that would make. It would transform the futures of Clubs everywhere.
Such funding could spark a massive revival in local amateur football.

    But no.
They'd rather just give it to the Prem Clubs, to waste on a handful of multi-million pound iffy foreign players.
Thus contributing nothing whatsoever to English football.

Premier League clubs get at least? 120 million a season.
    Examples
Brighton give the Sussex FA 1 million
Norwich give the respective FA 1 million
Etc etc etc, then they spread the dough to respective clubs.
    This money is loose change.

Once again, many thanks to Mr Lardiman for doing his magic loading these pics on:emoticon-0137-clapp
This game was played on a public recreation ground so there were no issues with spectators attending, particularly pleasing for one of my chums who travelled all the way from Northampton for his football/groundhopping fix.

So, er Gilingham give the kent FA 1m quid, which they then give back when the Gills fold, reform in the Kent league and need a new ground. Some of the local FA's don't have much in the way of football clubs to donate the money. Though I'd have thought the London clubs could help out.
Laughing aside, it's a great idea. The cost in real terms would be negligible to the prem clubs, but that money down the league's could save a lot of small clubs teetering on the brink. I'd guess one or two would take the cheque to the bank, take out some oversize loan, zoom up the leagues on the never never and slip into bankruptcy later, but the vast majority would see an enormous benefit.

This game finished 2-0 to NPL. A rather uninspiring game was livened up by a rocket of a free kick from the home sides manager.
He came on with 20 minutes to go, he was ENORMOUS, he had to be 20 stones!

2 or 3 seasons ago I thought we should have signed Akinfenwa (The Beast, as they called him) - is he around 20 stone?

He's a bit too old now, but I thought he was a surprisingly decent player in his prime.
Would have loved to have seen him in a massive XXXXL Charlton shirt <laugh>

    £15.60 for 3 pints ? That’s a bit pricey for a clubhouse isn’t it?
