The GERS figures are pie in the sky economics forced on Scotland by the John Major government in order to hide Scotland's true wealth. The MSM's insistence that they are the ScotGov's own figures is all part of the charade.

They also, like you, love to bang on about an independent Scotland taking it's fair share of the UK's debt. It's fair share of the UK's wealth and assets never seem to get a mention. Especially by the moronic Norfern Englanders in here who think Scotland will be left with two rowing boats and a rubber dinghy to patrol our waters.

The best of it is whilst they bang on about the mythical Scottish deficit whilst they live in English regions who's deficit are eye watering and will get even worse as independent Scotland uses it's own ports to ship its goods and England becomes ever more London centric.

We will be fine as a wealthy independent nation. The North of England will be a wasteland, still.
