Funny as f’ck how serious some countries take this ****te.. Italian wannabes all Charlied up to f’ck...
Think wires got crossed in the report in the HDM. (Quelle surprise!). Pat Bredin's song was 1 minute 52 seconds which was the shortest ever until Finland entered one not long ago which was 1 minute 27 seconds. That Finnish one was 15 seconds shorter than the shortest UK number one and 9 seconds shorter than the shortest US number one. So very short.
Belated revenge for us giving Waterloo nul points? Or for us having the biggest selling Eurovison winner?
Same region as Israel. There is actually an arcane reason why some non European countries are allowed to enter.
It’s nothing to do with being in Europe (though the majority or entrants are), it’s put on by an international group of public service broadcasters who signed up in 1950, it includes much of the Middle East and some of North Africa. It’s also an utter bag of ****e and it’s hard to understand why anyone watches it.
