I know this doesn't belong to our takeover story, but I think it is really interesting to see just what is attracting some rich Americans to buy English lower league clubs (it includes the bloke who bought control of Wycombe) The US millionaires investing in lower-league clubs - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56674024

I see that Boris just tweeted that all restrictions at football stadia are most likely to be lifted on June 21st.
Hopefully we'll have low 30 thousands again. It depends hugely on who we keep and bring in though. If we keep most of current team and bring in much the same we'll not move forward. A lot of supporters are waiting for club to show it's hand imo
The retained list will yes. Hopefully it's a very small list! After that, the actual recruitment picture may take the whole summer to take shape. Saturday was in the main the culmination of mistakes of lariat ownership group. The next few months will decide the future of kld imo.
Indeed, what I meant was that we'll have a better idea when signings start, obviously there'll be a lot of unhappy bunnies if it is the same format as the Donald regime, which hopefully it won't be. I always maintained, for me personally that if we didn't go up the ownership crisis was more imperative than the promotion. Guess the real work starts now.
Very true. If recruitment same as before and we retain many of the current failures it'll be last straw for a lot of our support imo. Hopefully we get better. We certainly could do with some better days and soon.
Wonder if KLD will have a rights issue of shares to fund the rebuild? Canny cash call on other shareholders Purely in the interest of meeting our obligations under financial fair play of course
Might be some managerial news by the end of the week..some meetings happening today and tomorrow...could go either way.
I'm not shocked they're asking the question. Either way it needs to be this week though. Only worth sacking him if theres someone lined up or we'll waste 50% of the summer recruiting a manager and be weeks behind bringing in players again. We need to be shaping the squad for next season immediately.
I would like to think that after the new signings there will be a surge in season tkt sales AND hopefully on the 1st home game a load of walk ups. Get off to a flying start and we could hit 40k. Even low 30s is huge for the league that we are in.
Never realised it was that many. Thats good news. Average walk ups must be between 3 - 5k I would have thought.
I’m not surprised it will be being discussed. When KLD said there would be no panic if we didn’t get promoted I am sure he also didn’t anticipate going 1 win in 12 to finish the season and then producing an inept away display in the first leg of the play off semi final. Things change very quickly in football and one thing is for sure is that we need to make a quick but well thought out plan for next year. If the manager is to stay or go the decision needs making and then back him. I am convinced that KLD will be speaking to the fans via the website sometime in the next week or so to calm the fans down a bit. We need to recruit well but recruit quickly. The players that are starting the season need to start pre season with the manager so everyone can bed in. No waiting to the transfer deadline and panicking. There is a lot of talk about plans, well these plans need to start now.
