Or repetitive whinge. Now about this Robert Kraft? What's the goss? And also it's all gone quiet re the Captain Kirks. If we are going to change owners, would be nice to do it soon so that recruitment for the new season is not negatively impacted. Anyone got any thoughts on what formation we'll be playing next season?
Is it still possible to do a correspondence course in the use of the English language, waltzing Matilda?
Of course, but while there's the prospect of an actual takeover, coming on to see two new pages added and having to scroll through to see if any of the posts have anything meaningful can get a bit tedious.
I don't get why it bothers you so much. First of all there have been plenty of non starter take over rumours that's how we have got to nearly 1000 pages, this latest one has gone just like all the others, a hot tip which goes cold so posts start of about the hot tip, will the owner be good, do they have money and the likes and quickly drift off topic. You can be sure when / if a deal is done the thread will get back on track. And to throw another spanner in the works of the Turk deal, Howdentiger said his rumoured buyer is a different one to this. So if we have two potential buyers there's a good chance we will end up with the Allams.
I've explained why it bothers me, not sure what is difficult to understand about wanting a thread to actually discuss said topic? We could have an off-topic thread for silliness and puns if people want to post that sort of stuff. I think particularly for those of us in other time zones, when we jump on the board and see new pages added we think there might be an update and jump in to see what it is. To then have two pages of nothingness is a bit tedious as I said previously. That's all. It doesn't bother me 'SO' much, it's just a bit of a bore, that's all.
Two interested parties makes me more worried than if it was just one. They'll probably try and start a bidding war and end up with neither buyer. (Assuming there are any serious contenders for buyers in the first place)
A key part of any discussion (it seems) is that Boy Wonder is kept on As Director of Football.... am I wrong on this...?
Don't get it, sorry. Anyway it wasn't meant to be a big thing, was just an aside. As I said it's probably more a thing that nags at people in different time zones so if it's not a big deal it's not a big deal.
Ehab has just had his most enjoyable season, his most compliant manager, lower wages to pay, good title winning football and none of those pesky supporters around, why sell now?
