Loki starts on Wednesday (well, Thursday) in what looks to be Disney’s version of The Umbrella Academy. Owen Wilson is in it too. It’s sure to be fantastic as Tom Hiddleston is brilliant as Loki.

This Kodi thingy, is it safe to download and use?

I don't really use it as I find better options but I used it a bit when it was called XBMC and I dip in occasionally to see if it has changed much.

It is a cross platform media centre, but it is mostly used these days for streaming of shared content.

Yes, it's safe. It's also fiddly and the content stops working a lot so it needs a fair bit of keeping on top of. This is based off old experiences and recent android use.

Maybe people who use it more can explain about available content.

It is really popular to be fair. I just prefer IPTV.

It's safe enough if you can be bothered to fanny about with it, I couldn't. It looks good, promises a lot but delivers less imo. I found it clumsy to use and many of the links just don't work.

IPTV seems best option, but I don't understand the tech to be honest

    Excellent.
Mr Bean has aged quite a bit I'd say - still bloody good mind.

Think the series "Sharpe +" with Pete Postlethwaite was superb.

we binged watched hornblower a few months ago and enjoyed it despite it showing its age in a number of areas.
we then went on to watch Sharpe but sacked it off after a few episodes because it was just too bad. the action scenes were so dismally shot and choreographed it was hard to watch. like i said hornblower wasnt too far behind.

it really is evident how so much has changed since back then. series we enjoyed as teens like the professionals and the sweeney now you just see naff overacting and student quality production. i like sean bean and really tried to get into it - watching the episodes with twitching postlethwite but i know when something is bad cos i reach for my phone to imdb what other stuff actors have done and then get sidetracked.

Started watching “ The Killing “ the American version based on a danish series I think. 3 episodes in and I have to say it’s not bad. Certainly very watchable. There are 4 series all told….

Just watched the first three seasons of the "Unforgotten" on Netflix which several on here had recommended a few pages back. Found them absolutely first class. This is the sort of intricately written crime series which the British do brilliantly and the Americans make a complete hash of. The story lines are absorbing, and the casting and acting are outstanding. Each season covers a different "cold case" investigation into the murders of long-dead victims. There is a fourth season now available in the UK I believe, but not in America, which I am greatly looking forward to. Very strongly recommended !

Invest in a VPN CT. There are quite a few available which cost around $ 8-9 per month and allow you to watch all live BBC, ITV channels, CH4 and CH5. (Not the PPV services of course like Sky), plus lots of archived programs. I never watch NA TV except ironically for football & rugby (Sportsnet etc).

I've got Meaty, Beaty Big and Bouncy on vinyl! It's 50 years old this year. It's not been discontinued yet and Amazon are selling it for £20.50. Mine is not for sale ... yet.
