I apologise for being snappy yesterday. I am up and down mentally, but that's no excuse. To each their own.
I'd say that previously he hasn't justified his place based on performances but would agree that he's had a couple of decent spells; however his performance on Sat given about a week and a half under Howe showed a significant improvement and I genuinely hope he continues to improve. If he can, then we can concentrate elsewhere - especially this season as I don't think we can realistically put more than 4/5 new players into the 1st team and expect it work quickly enough to overcome potential relegation issues
Huh? He's been one of our best players for a while actually and on Saturday he was ****ing brilliant. He can play football so he's going to shine now because Howe wants us to play
I'm just being facetious - he's improved a lot (from being utter garbage) and Brentford - slip aside - was his best game. There's definitely a very decent player there, and he's still really young.
Posted this earlier in the thread and it's clear he can play. The side was never set up to play football.. Brazilians don't grow up playing Bruceball He's going to shine under howe.
I really hope he does come through because the **** he's had has been awful.. Just a young lad in a foreign country. He's never given up and I've never heard him complain or throw his toys out the pram being asked to do a job that doesn't suit him. Come on big Joe.
Lol, do you have a whole list of threads bookmarked, so you can return to them in 6 months if you get proved right to say I told you so? Lol. Joey was always decent tbh, a few bad games and constantly played out of position, but even when he was bad he put in ten times more effort than the likes of Shelvey.
This has been sent to me from a friend of mine on WhatsApp today asking where this Joelinton from the weekend has come from. As the Tweeter says - Joe bossing players around him is great to see long may it continue!
Fcking hell. That's absolute boss level, that, mind. Dare we dream that we actually have a £40m player on the right of a £30m striker, with a £60m player on his left? Anybody thinking this lot are going down is just wrong.
Always say to the bairn, don't run before you can walk when it comes to football stuff, with Big Joe he needs to learn to stay upright before he can walk
