Yes - he has missed a couple of big chances.

They will hope he finds the net in the next round as it's win or bust now.

Dan keeps a clean sheet, and Austria progress.

Made one excellent save but Austria were very impressive and as you say were worthy winners.

Finland being run ragged by Belgium - am not sure how they've managed to keep a clean sheet so far.

Drama in the Finland Belgium match as a Lukaku goal is ruled out by VAR because the toenail on his left big toe was offside...

A bit better from England, but this constant passing backwards is not making for attractive football.

I blame the whole style on Guardiola. He has got the whole football world playing the same way. Interminable passing around at the back until they can see an opening. The idea is to get a shot in target without anyone actually threatening to take the ball off you. The difference with england though is that they only have 2 attacking methods , the ball over the top , which hasn't changed since Johnny Haynes, and the pass down the wing which hasn't changed ever.
At least GT made the game exciting to watch. Watching England, the only excitement is the result.

Don't think we will beat any of the big boys really - solid in defence but lacking goals.

England will go out in the last 16 as it is, probably.

All fart and no poo as usual.

CouldnĀ“t even batter the Jocks who outplayed us.

Bit of a shocker for the Slovakia goalkeeper today having started so well saving a Spain penalty!

    Germany it is.

Well if Hungary can almost beat them ..

Winner would get a good 1/4 final draw .

We will need to be better I feel

Not just a good quarter final draw Mark. For the Germans they are in a different side of the draw to France, Spain and Italy (their 3 biggest bogey teams). It seems wrong that the 3 best teams in the competition, Italy, Belgium and France are all on the same side of the draw. As far as England are concerned Germany are beatable. Whilst England national teams are often boring to watch - this one is extremely so but not conceding goals can take you a long way in tournaments like this. The Germans have conceded 5 so far.
