I’m not sure that any top player would want to come to us without knowing who the manager was going to be, but Laporte would be acceptable but plus more than £1oom

The question mark with Laporte is over his injury record. If there are no long term implications from his recent injury then I’d be ok with it as long as the cash fee is towards the middle-upper 100m mark.

I doubt it’ll happen though as swap deals are difficult, the players coming the other way has to want the move and if he wanted to leave City I’m sure there’s no shortage of other suitors who would be able to offer him a better playing environment.

Overall I think a wholly cash deal is more likely if Kane leaves.

I'd bet all 3 are on Kane level wages. Laporte and either Jesus or Sterling - though God knows we gave enough players in Sterling's position.

    What use is Laporte?

can you play concerts on him?

can he be used in conjunction with the skywalk somehow?

I see no other use for him

    Levy’s thinking

    @PowerSpurs to confirm

Manchester Evening News are claiming that both clubs have said this is bullshit. Wouldn't surprise me.

@PowerSpurs to see if this works.

If Kane continues at his current form in the Euros then £100m seems generous

Yeah because two bad games for England after 7 seasons of being outstanding will really drive his value down won’t it <laugh>

Manchester City are ready to include Brazil striker Gabriel Jesus, 24, and England forward Raheem Sterling, 26, in any bid for 27-year-old England striker Harry Kane, who Tottenham value in the region of £150m. (Times - subscription required)

I’d take both plus 90/100 mill

everyone saying Jesus isn’t what we want/need but I can guarantee you we won’t get anyone better with the cash.

Sterling might be all the negatives we see in his game but he’s a massive massive upgrade on anyone we got on the right

There will be worse trios than Son, Jesus and Sterling at the top clubs.

Son the Son of God & God according to Gareth. All we need is a ****ing aqueduct and the Spurs tour would be complete.
    I'd prefer Moses.
