please log in to view this image Swansea City goalkeeper Jamie Searle has signed a new contract to extend his stay with the club. The New Zealander joined the Swans after a spell at Aston Villa last summer. His original deal was due to expire this summer, but he has now put pen to paper on a new one-year agreement, that includes the option for a further 12 months. Searle featured for the under-23s following his arrival from Villa and will look to press on under coaches Kris O’Leary, Anthony Wright and Martin Davies in the forthcoming campaign.
Fulham have drawn up a list of potential replacements for Parker which includes Swansea City boss Steve Cooper, Barnsley manager Valerien Ismael and former Cottagers assistant coach Javier Pereira.

Sky Sports have reported that Anderlecht have apparently made an approach for Swans midfielder Yan Dhanda who will be out of contract at the end of next season. Dhanda is said to be keen to investigate the opportunity.
The Sheffield Star has reported that Sheffield United will hold talks with Kean Bryan over his future at the club. He has been linked with the Swans and Burnley recently, whilst other reports say Watford were also interested.
West Brom are closing in on Barnsley boss Valerien Ismael as their new manager after meeting a compensation clause in his contract. The expectation from all parties now is that the Frenchman will be named successor to Sam Allardyce at The Hawthorns, possibly by Wednesday.
