Agree, I tried a Linux variant (forget which one) and it was as you say. However I needed compatibility with what my customers had so I stuck with windows. I've stopped working in IT now so I might revisit Linux, if I can be bothered, I'm not getting paid for it any more!
But I'm told by my wife that it's MacOS that's becoming troublesome. It might be her being not too tech-savvy but here's an example. On holiday last year, no wifi, we wanted to watch a film or something using a phone as a tethering device. I had a windows device, wife had apple, both had android phones. My device connected via android with no issues, the apple device would not connect to the android phone. That's the kind of thing she's finding more and more with Apple, it's just getting harder to work outside of the Apple bubble.
That won't bother them. Theyve already been caught absolutely bang to rights cheating FFP and got a slight tickle on the wrists. They know now they can spend whatever they want without any comeback. The precedent has been set.
That all depends on who can tell me what position Linux MacWindow plays in, everytime I try and type his name in it just brings up random computer ****
Surely their wage budgets are only going to be "roughly mid-table" too, like ours? And they already have several costlier players on their books than us. So we should be able to compete against them? Surely.
Oh for the days when we didn’t share transfer targets with the likes of Luton. Now they’re pipping us to nearly everybody we want . Still, we’ve made some quality additions so far, and there’s ages to go yet. I’m genuinely impressed we’ve managed to get four good players in at the very start, it takes the pressure off for the rest of the window and allows us to analyse and react to any problems that arise.
