Brazil beat Chile 1-0 in the Copa America semi-finals last night - ending Sierralta's involvement in the tournament. I wonder if he'll be hanging around for the final, or will he back straight away to join in pre-season training?

 

Probably gets a little rest like Bachmann has.

 

It seems that there's a play off for third place against Ecuador, so he'll be there for a while yet.

 

Brazil defeated Chile in the quarter-finals of the Copa America so Sierralta's involvement in the tournament has finished. Brazil will play Peru in one semi-final and Argentina will play Colombia in the other semi-final.

 

My bad - I thought the Brazil v Chile match was a semi-final.

Given overseas travel constraints, there are two changes to Watford’s pre-season schedule.

While the home friendly against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday July 24 (3pm) and the trip to Stevenage on July 27 (7.45pm) remain in place, our fixtures against Nantes and Udinese have been cancelled.

The Hornets will now host WBA’s fellow Championship side Barnsley on Saturday July 31 (4pm). Then, on Saturday August 7, we will play away to Premier League Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park (3pm), before the big kick-off at home to Villa the following weekend.

 

And the Villa game will be GT day .

Nice touch.

 

You would think, in the pandemic circumstances, that the league and Watford contrived to have a GT club first up at home

 

Apparently we have signed Peter Etobo from Stoke on a season long loan with an option to buy.

Stoke don't appear to rate him - or perhaps they are trying to offload their high earners. I haven't a clue what he's like - he spent most of last season on loan at Galatasary so am not sure he featured against us.

 

Well spotted i have complained to the BBC about sexism!

 

Seems to be a high earner with an attitude problem but does have the ability.

Maybe WTE will help him out ?
