As far as I can tell, it refers to the loans the Allams made to us. So when Assem said "it's a gift" and we all said "no, it's a loan", this was the problem. It's there to stop owners simply chucking money at a club.

 

I wondered if it was a loan from the efl cos of Covid?? And we’ve not paid it back ?

 

I was thinking that also chazz,I noticed scunthorpe under the same embargo also

 

It could very well be, I suppose we wouldn't know about any of that until the accounts are released.

 

Either way, were not the prettiest girl in the park right now for a takeover.

 

I don't think it would have any bearing on a potential takeover.

 

Thought being L1, clubs were offered grants, not loans. Championship clubs it was loans only..... Unless we took all the grants available already...

 

I would say so too, looks quick and strong for his age, let's hope he has a similar impact as one F Campbell!

 

Will this embargo scupper this deal?

 

I still believe this is to do with the gift from the allams. Are they charging interest on top of interest? Dodgy fcukers anyway.

 

Also just read we are not allowed season long loan deals but we have 2...anyone got any more info

 

They where done before this came into effect

 

I'm only guessing ATM, but that loans been in place for years and this has only just happened, so unless something has changed very recently, I doubt it's to do with the Allams loans to the club

 

Thought 1 was done yesterday...apparently embargo been in place a few weeks

 

I've not seen anything about it being in place a few weeks, but tbf I didn't really look at anything to do with this last night so may have missed it

 

But we don’t have any other loans, so…….?

 

I'm sure it'll all come out in the wash, just seems odd that it's happened now and not over the last 10yrs. All I can think of ( if it is to do with the allams loans ) is that something in the background has changed recently

 

How do you know that?

 

My worry is that this happened despite the fact they will have been aware of the rules. And they didn’t tell us. So either they don’t care or they don’t care. You can choose only one.
