I know we don't own Sweet Caroline but how did it end up with the England team? Last season Xisco brought it to the Vic, did that inspire England to 'borrow' it?
Being Watford we will be accused of copying it Just like community football attachment everyone but us has forgotten that GT invented it
If it goes to penalties the trophy is ours: Switzerland beat France on penalties Spain beat Switzerland on penalties Italy beat Spain on penalties England to beat Italy on penalties??
It certainly wasn't - I've no idea what the ref & VAR guy were thinking... And as for the 'fan' who shone a laser in Schmeichel's eyes as the penalty was being taken - words fail me.
Sterling certainly went down rather easily BB. The ref and VAR guy were probably thinking they wanted to decide the match and get away from the place as quickly as possible. Having 60,000 + crowds in what is now the biggest Corona hotspot in Europe is the height of madness - no social distancing anywhere. I'm just praying that these Euros will not be known for all the wrong reasons.
Add that to the Wimbledon crowds and 140k at the F1 too. Mimd you if England win will anyone care ? Particularly the big wigs who will use it as a distraction.
The Football Association has been fined £25,630 (30,000 euros) by UEFA for the behaviour of England fans during the Euro 2020 semi-final win over Denmark, which included a laser pointer being shone at Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
Not exactly a final for the purists. Referee has had an excellent game. Not worth watching back for sure. Nice finish for the winner (di Maria), Richarlison equaliser disallowed for offside, extraordinary Messi miss at the death, couple of decent saves by the Aston Villa keeper to keep Argentina ahead.
