Preferably in the £200 to £500 range, any recommendations for a 5' 11" fb https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/fitness/gallery/best-exercise-bike/amp No. 2 looks canny
https://wersports.com/products/revxtreme-xpower-indoor-cycle-studio-exercise-bike-black-red Check this out mate. Own brand but good solid machine. Good price as well right now. I use that with Peloton app on a mobile. No cadence montitor but you can work round that by deciding your own baseline and work up and down. Obviously a mile off peloton or wattbike machines but I cant justify that sort of money!
Thanks marra, been reading up on that bike this afternoon Is it noisy? Son might use it, he's 12, 5' 2" ish, is it adjustable?
You not thought of buying a Turbo trainer, (obviously need a bike). I bought an Elite Smart turbo from Halfords and subscribe to Zwift. Works a treat.
It is adjustable mate, I recon he would be ok, bit of a guess though. Give them a ring they are decent. It is not noisy, but i have it on a roll mat. Chain operated though so not as quiet as others might be. I have found it bad at all.
I've got this one; https://www.dkn-uk.com/dkn-ame-exercise-bike.html Good bike and a decent price @ sweatband.com
Just use your road bike, with a piece if kit for the back wheel (or even a special tyre).. that what I do...
I've got the Pro with the magnetic resistance so it's band driven rather than chain. Very quiet. Big heavy flywheel as well which is a good thing to look for.
I'm six foot two, Mrs Exile is 5 foot 7 and there's plenty of room both ways. You should be fine. Handlebars are adjustable too.
I have a JLL IC400 Elite. Its solid and great quality. https://www.jllfitness.co.uk/ic400-elite-indoor-cycling-bike.html
My advice would be to find a s/h one that cost someone £1000 ... ... you'll get it for £500 and it'll have been used three times
