Not much of a return going for the place on him. With Paddy's going 1/6 odds that's only 3/1 and that's not normally a price I'd have a go at so might aswell go for the win.
A worrying slice led to a disappointing finish..clearly didn't use his loaf.. Still alive with my Fleetwood/Mac and Homa/Simpson forecasts. Coat on!
The Open 2021: Bryson DeChambeau acts 'like eight-year-old' over clubs say Cobra This is what gets to me with some of these pro-golfers who are super talented, can hit it miles, and Bryson can, and then moan when they have an off day. His comments about the face of the driver he's using, "It's not a good face for me, and we're still trying to figure out how to make it good on the mis-hits." is classic comedy. I just hope some of my miss-hits manage to get off the tee box and not in to the rough, let alone over 300 yards down field but 30 yards off to the left or right...!!
He will have a robot playing for him soon if he isn't careful. He's always pushing the boundaries but what can he expect for this, of course his driver is going to go awry from time to time, the human error is the reason the game is what it is. I sometimes think Bryson would be better off in a white suit in some lab.
The forecast for this afternoon and evening is for a very calm session of weather with winds no more than 3mph. Makes it worth considering the Skybet offer of 7/1 about Oosthuizen and Spieth both shooting 66 or less. This golf courses main defence against the modern pro is the weather. In calm conditions it could be that they go very low.
I’ve just gone back in on John Rahm without the front 3 on the leaderboard at 7/2 with Skybet. Should be an interesting day. Good luck with yours lads
Evens for Oosthuizen, Morikawa and Spieth all to play the first hole in par or better. None of the three have bogeyed the hole in the first three rounds.
If Koepka’s putter had been on fire today we could have been looking at something close to 60. His iron play has been sublime.
