Benji was good. Poor pen but so so so much better than O'Brien.

Some reasonable football, lot of pressing and a passing game plan, fairly sound defence. We just need someone who can score !

They can't understand his corporate bullshit bingo. No pattern of play, no identity and never plays the young lads. What a shambles. The new strip is far too yellow. Short out, Donald out. :emoticon-0105-wink:

He was always gonna take it after winning it. Sharp mind. I’ve defended AOB in the past but that was pathetic tonight in a forwards role.

Not a bad work out that. We looked good on front foot especially Neil and Embleton but equally on the back front the team and I thought Neil looked a bit weak. Can see him being a sub rather than a starter at first but no doubting his ability and should be a good squad player.

Am I the only one who’s noticed that if you look on comments of Roker Report tweets it’s generally optimistic responses. Then you look at comments against Wise Men Say tweets and it’s generally people saying they hate the world.

Some of our first half sharpness was missing in the second half but this York team stuck to their guns and gave us a game, even so we missed a lot of half chances and of course a penalty at the death, still a lot to be happy about from our second competitive game, the team looks to be gelling nicely. Lee cannot bring players on to win a game for reason. Klopp in by next week, Henderson and Salah to come with him, that was appalling that 2nd half, Benjy came on and tried, who is the number 2 ? i thought Flanagan was bad, we need to see Pritchard and still need another striker.
